This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
So, on a whim, my wife and I watched a little movie called Perfect Sense. From the description it appeared to be a generic romance with some very minor sci-fi element. It was that, except you replace "generic" with "believable" and "minor" with "awesome".
I hardly ever see a believable on-screen romance. I think the closest thing I can think of was Bill Murray and Scarlett Johannson in Lost in Translation (and you can argue that that wasn't a romance, but I'll just point out how you're stupid). It just doesn't happen often. However, in this kind of amazing movie, Ewan McGregor and Eva Green feel right, and it becomes more and more obvious as the film goes on.
The sci-fi element, while less important than the romance, is spectacular, and from what I know of cinema, a pretty unique premise. I don't want to even mention it aside from telling you that it exists, because I think going to this movie unprepared will lead to a far greater experience than I could hope to provide here. There are no effects to speak of, no CGI ships flying about, but it fits quite nicely under the heading science fiction.
I was quite impressed with the acting all around, not just McGregor and Green. The characters felt real all around. Nobody felt particularly flat. The atmosphere in every scene felt just about right. The overall direction of the story was spot on. I could go on and on, but I won't. It just felt like everything clicked when they were making this wonderous film. I felt more satisfied after watching this movie than I have at the end of a film in quite some time.
It's not often that I recommend a movie openly, to anyone that reads what I have to say. But this is one of those times. Pour yourself a drink, sit down with your love, and WATCH. THIS. MOVIE.
